It is native to forested areas of the Himalayas and locals attribute healing powers against snakebites.

The video has been published of a strange plant with the appearance of a snake that is able to ascend through the flow of water poured from a bucket and swim against the current in a stream.

The plant, whose texture is similar to a wood, is known as Guaruda Sanjivani and is found in wooded areas of the Indian part of the Himalayas, where the locals attribute medicinal powers against snake bites.
The images show how the plant begins to rotate, climbing by the jet of water poured on one of its tips, as if defying the law of gravity.
